Indulging in outlandish paranormal activities with the Occult Club, high school student Yuuji Itadori spends his days in either the club room or the hospital, where he visits his handicapped grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for Strange when he inadvertently encounters a cursed object.

Triggering a series of supernatural events, Yuuji finds himself suddenly thrown into the world of curses – terrifying beings made up of human malice and negativity – after swallowing said object, revealed to be a finger belonging to the demon Tsukuna Ryumen, “King of Curses.” Yuuji experiences firsthand that these curses pose a threat to society as he explores his newfound powers. Introduced at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, he follows a path that begins to walk from where he cannot return – the way of a jujutsu magician.
